Happy 2nd Keslee!!!

Happy Birthday Keslee!!! I can't believe she is two already. She is so silly and has grown up so much over the last year. It seems like the first year she was born, it went by so slow and our lives were so hectic because of the ages the two girls were at...but, wow, I don't even know if I remember how to take care of a newborn. It feels like we've been out of the newborn stage forever. Anyway, we had a fun day for her birthday. My fam made it possible for Kes to hit up the Aquatic Center, then we came home and did presents. She originally asked for a backpack, but once Ryah had her birthday she asked for everything Ryah got. So she got a tricycle, a pillow pet (thanks Aunt Tiff, she got Ryah one, too), little keyboard (thanks Whit), bubbles (thanks Shaun and Jeni), coloring paraphanalia and lots of other stuff thanks to Grandma who went shopping for me.

Some fun things about Kes:
-Loooves "chockit" (chocolate)...Cocoa Pebbles are a must for breakfast, chocolate licorice, chocolate Hershey's bar, chocolate milk, really anything with chocolate she eats unlike Ryah.
-Likes the color yellow.
-Loves to sing the song "Tomorrow" at the top of her lungs. Funny thing is Ryah will tell her to stop because it hurts her ears and Kes just keeps belting it out. :)
-Has a huge heart, she always gives in to Ryah if Ryah is crying for a toy Kes has.
-Loves her blanket.
-Loves to be cuddled.
-Can count to 14
-Sings her ABC's
-If I say we are going somewhere that day as soon as she's dressed and her hair is done she says, "Ready go."
-Tells you she wants to do stuff right now.
-Likes to do things "myself" as she would say.

To think we started out here...

and now we are here!!!

We love you Kes, Happy Birthday!!!

Fourth of July

I was admitted to the hospital a few days before we were supposed to head to Delta for the 4th of July, but thanks to my awesome family they teamed up, packed the girlies stuff, and took them out of town with them so Jared could help me out while I laid at the hospital taking drugs to stop labor. :( We didn't have an eventful 4th at all, but the girls had a good time in Delta. Ryah informed me she's moving to Grandma Jeanne's and asks to go back continually.

Here are pics from their fun:

Enjoying the annual demolition derby with Zach and Tiffany. Thanks to my family for taking the girlies!!! I know it isn't the easiest job.

As for me, I am still down, but out of the hospital, thanks to an awesome Perinatologist. I think he was my saving grace. :) Hopefully off bed rest this week and the baby in a few more, but who knows.

Shout out to Jared...a little late :(

Just wanted to wish my hubs a Happy Father's Day like a month ago. The girls had a great time picking presents and making cards for him. I tried explaining to the girls that they were surprises and we weren't to tell daddy or give him his presents until Sunday. Sure enough when Jared got home Ryah had to tell him a secret without anybody around and told him she bought him a tie, but that it was a surprise so not to tell anyone...little stinker. The girls adore him and he has them wrapped around their finger. He lets them do whatever they want to him...his hair, put make-up on him, play dress-ups, play barbies or babies, paint their toes and fingers, etc.

The girls were so proud of the cards they made Jared. I let them pick out their own pictures to put on the cards, then they wrote a message to Jared on the inside.

Testing out his new Father's Day surfboard. Jared has become obssessed and is out on the lake at least 3 times a week. He loooves it. I haven't been able to join due to the pregnancy, but hopefully will be able to get out there shortly after the baby comes.

Thanks Jared for being such a an awesome dad and hubby! We love you and are so blessed to have you in our lives. :)
