Happenings...

We had the opportunity to go to Time Out For Women again in February. It was a lot of fun to get away for the day with just the girls. We always have a great time when we are together.

These three definitely got the most out of it :)

Next was Valentine's and oh what a flop that was. Back in December we decided to go to Celtic Night, along with the rest of my fam. I was a clogger for many years back in the day so I have a great appreciation for any type of Riverdance. I've seen the Riverdance production and loved it, so I thought this would be similar since all the advertisements focused on the "Riverdancing" part...but I was wrong. We went to dinner at PF Chang's then headed to Kingsbury Hall. I usually don't leave productions during intermission, but all of us got up and left. I wasn't impressed. We would have rather been at home with the girlies, they would have been much more entertaining. However, it was nice to have a night out with the hubs, I do loooove those. :)

Winter Fun

We've been trying to "enjoy" this cold weather. It definitely has been warmer than other winters, but not the late-70's and up that I prefer. We've been swimming a couple times, my what a difference six months makes in the girls swimming ability. They are water logs and ask to go swimming a couple times a week now. All the cousins went one night. It is funny to see how different they all are. Jett is Mr. Waterboy and loves to go under. Jax would rather walk around in water up to his ankles, with a life jacket and his monster truck. I don't know if he ever went in farther than his knees...willingly. Cam absolutely loved it and kept wanting his life jacket off. He kept standing in the middle of the fountains and running to the deeper water.

The girls have a new obsession with complimentary ice cream cones from Arctic Circle, so we go there, play on the playground, and eat the ice cream. Kes loves vanilla and Ryah loves the cherry dipped cones. Arctic Circle is hardly busy which makes it even better. It is crazy how busy life gets and our girls don't even seem to be in a busy stage of life, we are only in gymnastics and preschool, but it seems crazy at times.

Unfortunately, we have been plagued with the yucky chest, head cold thing that seems to be going around the last two weeks so we've been home bodies. Hopefully this next week we can get back around to doing things.
