Major Catch Up

Yes, we are still alive. How I neglected my blog for so long, I'm not sure. It was December and now all the sudden it's the middle of March, where did the time go??? I have quite the catch-up to do....a lot has happened in the last couple months so a lot is for my journaling purposes.

First the work Christmas Party was held at The Canyons this year. The theme was ES3's Got Talent. As most people know I did clogging for 12 years when I was younger. So, Tiffany and I decided to do a Riverdance Dance Routine with Faja. It was hilarious. I will post a video once I figure out how to transfer everything. This is great for everyone to see a different side of my dad. He comes across as intmidating and careless at times, but really he is a huuuuuge marshmallow. We ended up taking home $600 so that made it more fun. :)

I am sad this is the only pic I got from our Maxfield/Harris/Cox Christmas Party at the Roller Skating rink. I will be better next year. Christmas was a lot of fun this year. We have so much "stuff" so we decided to get the things the girl's use quite often instead of just buy to buy. They love to make forts so Santa brought them a pop-up tent. It is one of their favorite things ever. They also got crayons, giant coloring books, little wagons and step stools. They were starting to use the couch cushions as stools, so Santa brought them actual stools.
We were busy going from family to family throughout the day. The first part of the day was with Jared's family. The girls got a cute baby changing station which they love...basically, anything that has a baby associated with it is a very much loved item. We then headed to my parents for dinner and the annual Christmas Auction. Ry enjoyed helping make the gingerbread house this year and the category we won in was Children's Favorite Award. Keslee was more interested in eating everything. That girl looooves food. :) We won some great things at the auction...Oreck Steamer, food storage, restaurant gift cards, year's supply of toothpaste and new electronic toothbrushes, Sephora stuff which I loved, men's cologne stuff, and more. It was great fun and I'm glad my parents choose to also put practical things into the auction instead of just "stuff."
Ryah was confused a couple days following Christmas why Santa didn't come, but eventually I think she got it through her head that it happens once a year...'til next Christmas!
