I forgot to post about our annual Classic Skating Christmas Party that my mom's parents do every year. My mom comes from a large family of 12 kids plus some more through marriage so it takes a lot to get everyone together. The girls loved it this year. They keep asking to go back to the scooter park.
We missed you Chris and Ben!!!

Christmas Fun
We had lots of fun this holiday season. The stages the girls are getting into are so much fun. In fact Ryah was sad when we took down the Christmas stuff because she wanted to have Christmas again...I told her it would come again, but not for a while which is why the tree had to come down. Her questions now consist of what happens again mom before Christmas??? This means I have to give her a timeline of events that have to occur before Christmas i.e. her birthday, Keslee's birthday, Ashlyn's birthday, Halloween, etc...she's so silly.
We asked the girls if there was anything they wanted for Christmas. Ryah told us she wanted a chocolate baby, any color of dress you could possibly think of yellow, blue, pink, red, sparkly...you name it she wanted it, and a temple necklace with a jewel on it (Taylor recently got her YW Recognition and the necklace they give the YW is a temple with a red jewel. Ryah had been infatuated with it since Taylor got it which is where she got the idea). For most of December Ryah would shop online and show me what she wanted. Just a few days before Christmas Ryah told me to let Santa know all the stuff she wants he can find on the computer so he his elves didn't need to make her toys.
As for Keslee she wanted this particular baby that she showed me every day on the computer, some slippers, and some clothes. I'm not sure where my girls got this infatuation with clothes, but it is becoming extremely bad. Ryah tells me almost weekly that she thinks it's time to take her clothes to the DI because they are old and she needs new ones. Our days activities consist of changing clothes at least 6 times and I swear the goal is to find the most mismatched, ridiculous looking outfit they could find. It is becoming quite humerous. The rule has become when we're at home you can wear what you want, but when we go somewhere you have to wear what mom picks out.
As for Ash, the girls took care of her. They were sure to point out the things she wanted when they were looking for themselves, it was so cute.
Jared got me a new camera, I was so excited to be honest. I got the new Nikon with the detachable focusing lenses and I absolutely love it. I've just been a phone picture taker, but have loved my new one. I splurged and got Jared new golf clubs. I wasn't going to, but my dad knew what he wanted and everything else I didn't know you needed to know when buying golf clubs. He was pretty excited. He's already been out playing since Christmas.
Enjoying Christmas Eve with the Kay side. Jared's mom always does a Christmas Eve Dinner and the cousins do a gift exchange. The girls thought it was pretty fun.

All of us have always been PC users and my dad has always been an avid Mac user. He's been trying to get everyone to convert for a while what a better way to do it than to buy everyone Mac's. My sister's trying to figure it out. It was pretty funny at first listening to everyone trying to familiarize themselves with the operating system.
